Summer's Here

So where have I been? This diaryland experience mostly started from me being bored at work when no calls were coming in and I had surfed through pretty much everything I would normally surf through.
In february I started doing a different job here at work that involves me doing statistical reports on callbacks to our technical helpdesk as well as doing coaching to agents that have the most difficulty.
I started working a 4 to midnight shift and did that until the end of April. I then worked a 12 hour 9 to 9 shift for the month of May. Now i'm currently on a morning schedule that I decide myself when to come in.
The new tasks give me a lot more to do during my days and as a result I don't have quite as much free time to update here since I don't really get the chance to sit down for 10-15 minutes and just do a blog entry.
I bought a dvd burner for my computer sometime around the beginning of May and ever since i've been borrowing movies from friends and copying them. There's also an automated video store that opened up near my house around the same time and it works pretty much like a bank machine. I insert my card and enter my pin number, select the movies I want to rent and they come out of the dispenser like cash. Then to return them its the same as making a deposit. The good thing about this place is that if you return the movie within 6 hours it only costs 1$
So you put these things together and now I have over 160 dvd's, I usually update my list at this site.
I also got a 4 gig ipod not long ago and it feels good listening to music everywhere I go once again since I had stopped carrying around a cd walkman a long while back.
I'm having a good summer so far with the occasional weekend partying and time out in the sun. I'll be getting a few 3 day weekends leading up to my vacation week in August so I shouldn't feel too stressed out with work.
I actually went to see Batman Begins on Imax yesterday and thanks to my pothead friends, we got into the theater about 5 minutes before it started and there were no seats of course. So I got to experience the new Batman movie on Imax from front row center... For those of you that havent been to an Imax theater, its basically 2 or 3 times the normal screen size and twice as loud. The movie was really good although i'm sure I could have understood the fight scenes a little better from further back.
So in summary, i'm still alive for those of you that are wondering.
